CBD..Hemp Seed..BCP Hemp: What’s the difference?

The two most commonly asked questions asked by customers are:

Question 1: "Is this CBD oil?"

Question 2: "Isn't hemp seed oil the same as BCP oil?"

The short answer to both questions is "NO"!

What is Beta-Caryophyllene (BCP) Hemp oil?

Beta-Caryophyllene oil (BCP) is not CBD, Hemp Seed or Cannibis oil.

BCP Is an isolated terpene, extracted from the hemp plant which offers similar health benefits found in traditional cannibis oil - except without the psychoactive effects inherent with THC products.

Here is an extract sourced from the Therapeutic Goods Administration website which confirms the TGA's classing of Beta-Caryophyllene (BCP) as a terpene.

..."A submission raised the issue of Beta Caryophyllene (BCP) being a cannabinoid ... Research by the secretariat has confirmed Beta Caryophyllene is a terpene that is selective agonist of cannabinoid receptor type-2 (CB2)..."

In Australia, a terpene is legal because it is found in nearly all organic plant compounds. To ban them, would be to ban almost all plant matter.

Terpenes interact with the bodies cells to produce different physiological effects. These effects have been found to be very effective in treating arthritis, anxiety, depression, stress and insomnia.

What is CBD Oil?

CBD oil is a Cannabidiol/Cannabinoid. Almost all CBD oils contain trace amounts of THC - therefore the products is restricted unless you have very strict medical circumstances involving a doctor, in line with state legislature.

What is Hemp Seed Oil?

Hemp seed oil is extracted from the seeds of the hemp plant. It's very good for the skin, but doesn't have any implicit health benefits that BCP offers.

Does BCP hemp oil REALLY help arthitic pain?

Yes. BCP hemp oil interacts with the body in a similar way to CBD oil - sharing excellent anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain relief) and mood regulation properties.

Some have argued BCP oil is more effective than CBD oil beacuse BCP directly binds with the body's CB2 receptors helping mood regulation, inflammation and the immunity system. CBD oil does not share this binding ability with CB2 receptors.

Customer Experiences

"Yes, BCP hemp oil does help the arthritis in my neck and back"

For those familiar with vertebrae anatomy, I have spurs in my neck/cervical vertebrae (at C4, C5 and C6) and spine curvatures at T3 and T7 in my thoracic vertebrae and at L3 in my lumbar vertebrae.

Although not a “permanent cure” it does reduce my pain intensity and enables me to sleep for 4-5 hours at a time each night instead of the 2-3 hours of broken sleep I was used to getting, especially over the last two years.

Workwise, I’m a sole trader who puts marquees up in weather extremes and travels all manner of distances to trade at local markets, community events and local shows.

I have noticed particularly when driving those medium to long distances, before trading 6-8 hours and then driving the return leg home, the BCP really makes a difference.

"Long, physically draining days are made bearable when taking my drops (orally) in the morning when awaking."

"Throughout the day’s trade I will sporadically rub (topically) BCP into the hot spot ‘pain’ areas of my neck and back to keep limber and fluid."

"An added personal benefit was that I discovered the BCP hemp oil engenders a feeling of calm and well-being within me, which is rather helpful when driving along the Bruce Highway or M1 Pacific Motorway at 4am in the morning.

I highly recommend this product. I use it every day and certainly notice the difference in restricted mobility when I’ve skipped a day or two."
